American Staffordshire Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed

Molly was my Grandfather's dog. He bought her as a loving companion when she was a pup. She was his best friend in the last year of his life and I then I took her. She listens well and gets along well with two other dogs and several cats around the farm. She plays very well with my nephew who is eight and has been around her a lot since she was little. Molly is a little heavy, normally a thin active dog. I just have been unable to take her out many places since my work injury and have had to spend a lot of time gone for doctor's appointments, so she has been limited to a pen and yard. I need to move within the next two weeks so a new ... (Read More)home and quality family is needed immediately. (Less)

Cassious is a 2yr old, pup of Shay - also posted. Cassious is a handicapped dog as you will see his right foot is deformed. He still gets around and is a lovable dog. He doesn't really require any special treatments, just love and patience. He is still a very playful and active dog, just a little slower. He and the other two dogs on my posting are in need of a home very soon, I have to move and can not take them where I will be staying.

American Staffordshire Terrier    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Pregnant

Shay is an 8 year old American Terrier. Her mother was a family dog, and she was given as a puppy to my sister, who had to move in with our mother at a residence that does not allow pit bulls and would not make an exception. I have raised her for 7 years at my home in Hotchkiss area, but work injury has and employment issue has forced me to move and rehome our beautiful family dog. Shay is really just a loving member of the family. She is more an outside dog, but when she was younger she used to sleep on the pillow next my sister. She listens well and is just such a well mannered lovable girl. She is now pregnant, unsure what breed. ... (Read More)She had one litter, two years ago and it was a rough one. Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I have recently become homeless and unfortunately have to get rid of my best friend. She deserves a better life than I can now provide. She is a vwry sweet, 4 year old female pit bull mix. I got her from a shelter in New Mexico, where her original owners brought her, and as such, have a small amount of information on her. She is absolutely amazing with all people and even very young kids. Her only issues are with other animals, and would be best suited as the only pet. She did live with cats however, and mostly left them alone, but did show aggression to them at times. I am asking an adoption fee so I can feel comfortable that she is ...     Sally is a sweet heart. She is such a good girl. We think she is about 6 years old. She waited a long long time in the shelter. She is out now but stuck in boarding most of the time because we don't have a foster home available for her. She is a chill girl and her favorite place to be is sitting on you. She is great with kids but not a good option for homes with other dogs or cats. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested Heart Worm negative. Her adoption fee is $50.

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy
Health: Vaccinations Current

June came from the Victoria, Tx city animal shelter. She made it out right before the hurricane. She was emaciated, weak, itchy, covered in fleas and scared. She's so appreciative of being saved that she tries her best to do what you're wanting of her. She must have been kept outside all the time, because she'd rather sit by the back door waiting to come inside than venture around the yard. She rides well in the car, is sweet and calm, great with the other 2 dogs in the home, the cat, and human children. She is kennel trained and working on house training. She does seem to have a skin allergy and needs medication. She needs all of her front ... (Read More)teeth pulled from chewing them down on possibly a chain. She may be around 5 years, give or take. She's a wonderful dog, just hangs around wherever you're at, and so grateful to be loved. As soon as she puts on more weight, she will get her dental, spay and microchip. She's up to date on vaccines and bloodwork and is heartworm negative, but must be kept on heartworm prevention monthly. (Less)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is the very beautiful AVA - between 2 and 3 years old. She has movie star good looks and is very sweet once she gets to know you. Your patience will pay off. Within 5 minutes of picking her up from the shelter, she had hopped into my front seat to be right ON the air conditioning vents. Then she would wiggle around so that I could scratch just the spot that was itching. Then we went to the park for a walk where she surprised my with an extended roll in the grass under a shady tree. For you gardeners out there, Ava is guaranteed to rid your yard of varmints. She knows her basic commands and walks great on a leash with a Gentle Leader or ...
