Hi! My name is Puma! I'm an American Staphordshire/Lab. I'm almost 2 years old. I love to go on long walks. Fetch and tug of war our my favorite games. I LOVE car rides! I enjoy family time. I like other dogs, adults, children and cats too. I have lots of puppy energy and need someone who can keep up with me. I know my name and listen to it. I walk without a leash at 'leash free' parks. I sit, lay down and give pawl. I look forward to eating hard food mixed with wet in the morning and at night. I also enjoy something comfy to sleep on. I prefer my own bed or maybe even yours. I love to cuddle.I want to be a part of the family. I want to love ... (Read More)and be loved. I am just waiting for my perfect companion. I came from jacksonville, Florida. I was put up for adoption in Philadelphia and then was adopted by a family in Newcastle, De who unfortunately doesn't have the time that I require or deserve. I'm home alone all day. I suffer from separation anxiety and sometimes when left alone at home I chew things up. I've chewed up door knobs, rugs and shoes. So if left alone I would require a muzzle, one that I can't pull off and that allows me to drink while my human is gone. Someone with a yard with be ideal for me. I don't like crates. I am house trained. I never have accidents.I'm looking for my forever home. Someone who has time, energy and compassion for me. I will show you how much I appreciate you over and over again. I'm waiting for you. I know your out there. (Less)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Doobey is a loving, loyal guy. His younger brother showed aggression to him and our other dog a year ago. This started our 'crate and rotate' routine as suggested by a local animal shelter. Doobey is not doing well with so much crate time. Completely understandable. In the past few months he's begun licking small hot spots because he's not getting the stimulation he needs and deserves. We love this sweet little guy (42 lbs) but he deserves so much more than what we can give him in our present situation. With his younger brother's past aggressions, placing him would be extremely difficult. I know Doobey would make a great addition to an ... (Read More)accepting, loving family. Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information. I really can't express in words what an amazing dog he is. Thank you for your time. (Less)
