Sammy is in need of a new home ASAP due to the family parting ways with one another and both parties not being able to take this loving dog with them on their separate journeys. Sammy has had a rough puppyhood until we rescued him from his abuser. Sammy has jumped milestones since that time and has become the most loving, loyal and happiest dog he can be. Sammy would thrive to his fullest with a athletic couple or a single person because he is still a young boy at heart. Sam loves running around, going for walks and taking rides in the car. Sammy also loves to kick it around the house with his loved ones and give you so much love and attention and likes to get the love and attention back in return:) Sammy can be protective over his home and the ones that he loves in his home but adjust well to new comers and family members as well once he knows that he the person is not a threat to the people he cares about. Sammy is trained to go outside and was trained to go on the outskirts of property to handle his business. Makes it easy on his owner for lawn care. Sammy's vaccinations are up to date and he is taken care of on a regular basis. Sam had issue at the beginning with trust issues from people of any age and gender due to his abuse but over time is now good with everyone that comes into the home. Sammy has the potential to be a leash free type of dog If someone gave the time to train him. Sammy can walk freely without a leash with me and minds commands. This dog is in such need of a loving home that has the energy and time for him and deserves another chance at life as well. I would take him with me but unable to do so due to relocating and not being able to have him there. Sam is good with dogs around his size and bigger and loves to play rough with them. But if considered to be placed with other smaller animals please air with caution and supervise. Sam communicates well with his owners and you will know how he is feeling about a particular friend. Please consider him as an option for your home.. (Less)
