Rescue Me ID: 14-04-13-00258Maggie Mae (female)
Maggie does not have mange but does have skin issues. Her doctor thinks that it is due to allergies so she is currently on a prescription food: Hills Canine Z/D Ultra. She has a very sweet personality, but unfortunately, is not a good fit for our family. We would like to place her with a family who can provide the attention & time that we are unable to. All of her belongings will be provided: crate, shampoos, food with container, bowls, etc.

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-21-00128Domnick/ DOM (male)
Dom is a young male white with tan spots on his back has a black ring around his right eye sooo cute!!! and several black dots around his nose. He has a great temperament great with other animals of any kind even children!! He was given to me from a lady down the street was moving away when I got Dom he was very skinny from not being fed is what I think? I've been trying to get his weight back up and look healthy again. I work full time and don't have the time to give this dog in need I love the gentle giant I just think he deserves a new life and a place that can help him be socialized with other dogs and people from what I know the dog was mostly tied out at all times and was barely socialized with anyone, but sadly the dog wouldn't hurt a fly!! I hope somebody reads this and think Dom would fit in with your family and could help me with him and a new start on life that he so desperately deserves!!! Thank You, Brandi (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-20-00145Arthur (male)
My husband and I have had Arthur since he was a puppy. He is a blue, full-bred American Staffordshire Terrier, all shots up to date, and neutered. He was three years old this past November. Because the military is moving us to Germany (where Arthur's breed is not allowed), we are trying to find a loving home for him. Above all, Arthur loves people. He gets incredibly excited to meet anyone new and we have never seen any signs of aggression towards people. All he wants is to be near a person at all times. He is crate-trained and potty-trained. We have a big back yard - he loves playing outside in the back when the weather is nice. A backyard or someone who walks him frequently is ideal, as he has plenty of energy. Having said that, after 20 minutes of good exercise he is spent! He loves tug of war and fetch and would rather play those than run around. He loves having a special place to sit, like a pillow. He also loves sitting on people furniture, although he is trained not to do so except upon invitation. He knows 'sit,' 'down,', 'off,' 'out,' and 'back' and obeys most of the time. He is great with children, if a little energetic and unaware of his own strength. As he has gotten older, he has begun to be a little more crotchety towards other dogs. A couple of times in the last year, while walking him, he has lunged/snapped at a couple of dogs. It is hard for us to tell if he is actually being aggressive or just playing rough, which he loves to do with other big dogs. Most of the time, he 'bows' down to other dogs (even little ones) and does not show any aggression or alpha behavior whatsoever. We had one incident while he was being boarded this past October. He bit the buttocks of another dog and the dog required stitches. We spoke with the boarding facility and they said that Arthur did not show any aggression or alpha behavior towards any other dogs and that the dog he bit was notorious for being the most annoying, pesky, and loud dog in the facility. They also said that Arthur did not go for the neck. The boarding facility workers and owner love Arthur and have welcomed him back since the last incident, even though he has to stay separated from other dogs due to their policy. Arthur is one of the kindest, most loving and attentive dogs we've ever been around. We would love to find him a forever family. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-20-00015Cappone (male)
Cappone is a chocolate-colored, squishy-faced love of a dog with THE cutest underbite. At just about a year old and approx 50 lbs , he still has a lot of puppy energy but he also settles well in his crate. He loves his toys and makes his foster mom laugh when he throws them up in the air to himself. He is goofy and funny, and as sweet as the heart 'birthmark' on his back. Although he loves to play with other dogs, he has a rough style of play, so any doggie siblings should like rough-housing and be able to keep up. He'd also be fine as an only dog as long as his people are willing to provide many toys and play with him. Cats are just way too interesting for him, so no cats. Older kids to play with would be ideal - the perfect size for giving excited kisses! He is a love bug and loves to cuddle and just wants love. It would be great for him to have a yard for him to run and play in. Cappone knows basic commands and is crate trained and house trained. (Less)

Animal ID: 6330688Stella (female)
Hi! My name is Stella I will melt your heart with my puppy eyes and antics. Life for me thus far has ben very hard, starved half to death, full of worms, and mistreated by the people that were supposed to care for me. All of that is behind me now that k-9 Lifesavers saved me. I am working on my manners. I would do best as a only dog in the home. I can be social with other dogs and kids. Continued education would be a requirement for me. I just hope that one day I can have a forever home of my own. Will you give me a chance? for more information on me see my bio at K-9lifesavers.org
