Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I am searching for a new home for Luna. I have had Luna since she was 2 months old but due to unfortunate circumstances I have to find her a new home. I am searching for someone that may already have another dog as Luna loves to play with other dogs with similar energy. She loves to play, knows most basic commands and is very healthy. She is not fixed so I want to make sure she ends up with the right family that will get her spayed and keep her healthy. Any questions about Luna feel free to ask.

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-15-00487Sandy (female)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Sandy is seeking a new, loving owner (single person or couple with no children or other pets) that lives in the country! She'd thrive in a new home with lots of room to run and hunt. While she adores running and hunting, she is also equally happy snoozing on the couch or bed. She loves swimming and retrieving sticks from water, so having access to a pool or creek would be phenomenal for her. Tug of war with socks is another one of her favorite pastimes. She's an incredibly loving, gorgeous, athletic, and loyal dog. She's affectionate, cuddly, and is an excellent companion. If you're lonely, she'll make you feel loved and happy. Sandy is a ... (Read More)2 and a half year old lab mix (lab, border collie, American Staffordshire Terrier) and has lived with the same family since she was 10 weeks old (a married couple and a 12 lb Westie). Recently Sandy's parents had a baby. Because Sandy loves hunting and has a high prey drive, she needs to live in a home with no children or babies. Her current family is heartbroken to have to find her a new home, but is very hopeful and excited that the right person looking for a companion like Sandy is out there and will benefit from having her as their dog. She is house trained, very smart, and is easily motivated by food. Sandy would do best with an experienced dog owner or trainer. She is strong and is an excellent watchdog. She's friendly to adults and dogs that she knows. She is in excellent health, and is spayed, and microchipped. Although she is a large dog, she is a big teddy bear at heart. Reach out to us to learn more about Sandy and to arrange a time to come meet her. She's an amazing dog and will bring so much love and joy to her new owner. A small adoption fee applies. American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Well hello, My name is Zandi and I am an imposter! My DNA paperwork says I am an American Staffordshire Terrier and Wheaton Terrier mix, but I don't really see myself as anything other than an Aussie! I am very playful, and am being housed at a kennel right now. Oh how I would love to be with a family who will love me the way I would love them! I don't like some other dogs because I am worried they will take my food-maybe with some time and patience, I could learn to accept them. Right now though, I need to be the only critter in your house! Please read all about me on my rescue's website-
