    Roxie was stuck in a small town pound and did not have much chance of finding a place. Paws Up Nebraska took a chance and found a foster for Roxie. Turns out this little girl (around 30 lbs) loves children. Roxie has done fantastic with the children in her foster home. Roxie is house trained. She is not fond of a crate, but is not destructive when left alone in the home. She will sleep quietly on the couch or bed while you are away. Roxie knows sit and shake and walks well on a leash.     This is Felon. He is a pointer pit mix. He will be 3 in November. He is current on vaccinations, neutered and chipped. He is an energetic fellow that loves to run and play outside and then snuggle next to you in the recliner. He thinks he is a lapdog. He is house trained, crate trained and knows a few commands. A Staffordshire Terrier is obedient and very eager to please. A Staffordshire Terrier makes an excellent guard dog while still being exceptionally gentle towards children. A tendency of the American Staffordshire Terrier to be aggressive toward other dogs can be minimized through effective socialization early in life. Staffordshire Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise. They are not fond of cold climates.
