American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

My wife and I currently have two cats and two dogs. Unfortunately we now need to find a new home for one of our dogs, our most recent adoption, Sausage. She is a 7-8 month old, dark brown, staffordshire terrier mix. She is an extremely sweet dog that loves attention from people (good with both adults and kids from what we've seen), the only problem is that she is not good with other animals. As she has gotten more comfortable in her environment, she has gotten more aggressive toward our other animals. She has never once shown anything but love toward people (both us as well as strangers), so if we can find her a home where she will be the ... (Read More)only pet, I think she will thrive. We've had her in boot camp to try and work through the aggression toward animals, and her trainer does think that with some work she will be able to eventually ignore other dogs/focus on her owner instead. In terms of training, she knows sit and stay, and almost has down and watch me. She's house trained, though she does still have the occasional accident, and will whine by the door to let you know she needs to go out. The sooner we can find a new home, the better, as all animals are extremely stressed right now since we've been having to keep everyone separated as much as possible. Please let me know if you'd like to meet this little girl. I promise, one look in those eyes and you will fall in love. (Less)
