Rescue Me ID: 17-01-09-00178Hercules (male)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Abused/Neglected

Hercules was neglected by his previous owner. He was left outside all day in very hot weather. He was not exercised, not fed and watered as often as he should of been. He was also hit when he disobeyed. He was given to me but he has become quite the handful. He breaks out of his crate all of the time, he is using the bathroom inside the house instead of outside. He's become very frustrated and has bitten/snapped at my boyfriend. We do not have the training skills necessary to correct/change his behavior. He is otherwise extremely sweet, loves attention and truly just wants to be part of a family. We do not want to take him to the local ... (Read More)shelter as most likely he will be put to sleep. He just needs someone who knows how to work with behavior issues, someone who is patient, trusting and kind. (Less)

American Staffordshire Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults

Lola was brought into the WV Morgan County Animal Control in Berkeley Springs as a stray. Her owners have not claimed her and she is now out of time. She is very social with people and dogs and has been estimated to be between 2-3yrs old. She is well behaved and knows her basic commands, sit, stay, laydown. Lola was to be put down this week, but I was able to get a hold put on that action for an extra week to try and locate a rescue or home for her. Included is her picture. If anyone can save this girl's life, please contact MCAC at 304-258-6363.
